Remembering John Hughes

My life would be different today if there hadn’t been Pretty in Pink. The inclusion of New Order’s “Thieves Like Us” MADE that movie … it just sums up high school for so many people I know. But I also loved Mr. Mom and many of Hughes’ other films. It’s sad that he’s no longer with us, but Hughes’ celluloid is definitely of the forever variety.

I sort of went off in the HuffPo about Hughes’ movies. Not so sure I still agree with myself now, but alas, we live, we learn.

We’ll miss you, John Hughes!
